The construction of the fixed link across the Fehmarnbelt is taking shape, and a new milestone has just been passed. On 3rd May, the Fehmarn Link Contractors (FLC) received the final environmental approval that enables FLC to build the factory at Rodbyhavn and subsequently produce the tunnel components, which in the long run will form the finished tunnel. The environmental approval only regulates the area around the factory and covers an area of ​​approximately 1.5 square kilometers.
