DTL2 metro tunnels completed

On 11.06.2014 McConnell Dowell completed excavation on the 1,395 m-long twin metro tunnel from King Albert Park (KAP) to Sixth Avenue (SAV) station for DTL2 in Singapore (contract C917A). The TBM S-602 Gloria docked in the station wall at the SAV Metro Station some 34 days after the first tube was completed. Only cross passage excavation and the ventilation shaft adit tunnel at KAP beneath Bukit Timah Road remain to be excavated.
