Cat Shows 321CCR Compact Tunnelling Excavator for First Time at IntermatGeneva-based Caterpillar Tunnelling Industries shows for the first time in a construction fair in Europe its 321CCR compact tunnelling excavator. The machine will be displayed at Intermat, held in Paris from 24th to 29th April.With an operating weight of 25-27 tons and powered by a 103 kW engine, its compact design allows the machine to weave easily through underground confined spaces. The excavator features a 5.2 m mass excavation boom, a 2.4 m mass excavation stick, with C-type linkage and reinforced design, and a reinforced bucket linkage. The bucket capacity ranges from 0.8 to 1.8 cu m. A hammer application is possible instead of a bucket. Click
