Breakthrough for Sants-La Sagrera tunnel in BarcelonaOn the Madrid-Barcelona-French border high-speed railway line, the 11.5 m-diameter Herrenknecht TBM Barcino reached the exit shaft on 26.07.2011 after boring 5.1 km of the 5.8 km-long Sants-La Sagrera tunnel.
