Southbound Ceneri holing

On 30.03.2015, the final breakthrough in the south-bound east tube of the Ceneri Base Tunnel linked Sigirino with the south adit at Vezia, some five years from the first blast by Consortium Condotte/Cossi. Concrete final lining and track slab will now be placed, ready for the high-speed line.
