The Norwegian Tunnel Safety Conference  will be held from the 7th  to 8th September 2017 in Stavanger, Norway. The NTSC’s unique approach brings together tunnel operators and owners, policy makers, fire and rescue services with researchers and the tunnelling industry to spark innovative solutions to improve tunnel safety.

Topics from the program will be Personal safety in tunnels, information and training, ITS support inside a tunnel and E39 Costal Highway Route.

In the program there will also be the opportunity to visit the Ryfast sub-sea tunnel system which is under construction in the Stavanger Area. The Ryfast project features three tunnels, including a 14.3 km long link that plunges to 290 m, deeper beneath the sea than any tunnel before.
