Companies from all over Europe and Asia will participate in the Follo Line Project in Norway, a 22 km-long double track line between Oslo Central Station and the public transport hub at Ski. Key to the project is a 20 km-long twin bore tunnel that will be the longest railway tunnel in the Nordic countries. Extensive works will also be required at Oslo Central Station, together with construction of a new station at Ski and necessary realignment of the existing inbound Ostfold line on the approach to Oslo Central Station with a new tunnel.
The project, which is being executed by the Norwegian National Rail Administration on behalf of the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, is scheduled for completion by end-2021.
The project is split into the following main engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts: EPC Oslo S, EPC TBM, EPC D&B, EPC Ski and Signal.
