CIPE has approved the construction of Brenner Basis Tunnel, Lot 3 Mules-Brenner. Some EUR920 million are now available for the Brenner project to be added to EU funds. The lot involves completion of main tunnels and exploratory tunnel from north of Mules to the border, and from Mules to Fortezza. Meanwhile, works for the EUR300 million Isarco River Underpass at Fortezza have been started, and work on the Aica-Mules lot has been completed.
