Gotthard opens next year

On 01.06.2015 in Lucerne, Switzerland transport minister Doris Leuthard started the countdown to the opening ceremony of the 57 km-long Gotthard base tunnel. The official state occasion will take place on 01.06.2016, and the following weekend a large-scale celebration will be held to thank the public.
