Mining Equipment is based in Durango, Colorado, US, with an office
in North Bay, Canada. From these strategic locations the company

Mining Equiment owns what it offers - they are not brokers. Most
of its equipment is based at its shop in Farmington, New Mexico
and is available for inspection anytime. An extensive catalogue
features TBMs, LHDs, mine trucks and service vehicles, rockdrills
and rigs, air compressors, ventilation fans, slushers, air tuggers,
mine hoists and stage winches, motor generator sets, sheave wheels,

Rolling Stock
The Mining Equipment yard at Farmington, New Mexico, US has
a massive inventory of more than 300 diesel, battery and trolley
locomotives ready to be rebuilt for any job. More than 1,000 muck
cars are also in stock, together with flat cars, segment cars, personnel
carriers and a large number of concrete agitator cars. Drill jumbos,
LHDs and service vehicles are also stocked. Mining Equipment is
also the North American dealer for SCHÖMA Locomotives.

Jetair Fans
Also based at the Farmington facility, Mining Equipment manufactures
its tough, reliable Jetair fans in a wide variety of sizes from
3 hp to 400 hp and 18 in-diameter to 84 in-diameter.
All Jetair fans are designed to meet or exceed the harsh demands
of the underground environment, with fan housings of steel plate
with continuous welded joints, and hubs and blades of cast aluminium.
The optional Jetair integrated fan and silencer is compact, easy
to handle, and very quiet.
Each fan is balanced twice during manufacture to ensure smooth running
in operation. All have external grease leads and two lifting eyes.
Mining Equipment also offers a full range of ventilation accessories,
all of which can be built to specific requirements. Stocks of common
sized fans are available for immediate delivery, and other sizes
can generally be provided within 2-4 weeks. A wide selection of
used fans of all makes is kept ready for rebuild to customers' orders.
The company will also roll up to 5 ft-diameter ventilation pipe
at site for mines and tunnels.

Mine Hoists International (MHI), based in North Bay, Ontario, Canada
has more than 35 mine hoists and 40 stage winches available for the
international mining and civil construction industry, to rent or buy.
MHI can also evaluate and recommend hoisting and shaft related equipment
and provides engineering, refurbishment, modification and technical
assistance.
Sheave wheels, winches and manriding utility hoists are also offered
for sale or rent. |
