The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has awarded to: 

• China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) the SGD447 million contract  (CR205) for the design and construction of the King Albert Park interchange station,  located along Blackmore Drive off Bukit Timah Road,  under the Cross Island Line (CRL) Phase 2 project in Singapore.  
•  China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) - Sinohydro Corporation Limited (Singapore Branch) Joint Venture the SGD514 million contract (CR208) for the design and construction of Clementi station - adjacent to the junction of Commonwealth Avenue West and Clementi Avenue 4 -  under the Cross Island Line (CRL) Phase 2 project in Singapore.

DC Water (District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority) has issued notice to proceed to the CBNA-Halmar Clean Rivers Joint Venture comprising CBNA (a US based subsidiary of Bouygues Construction) and Halmar International for the design-build contract for the Potomac River Tunnel. The tunnel is a project part of DC Water’s USD 2.99bn (EUR 2.76 bn) Clean rivers project designed to control combined sewer overflows and to improve water quality in the Potomac River in Washington D.C. The contract value is USD 819 million (EUR 757.13 million).  The main tunnel, which is 5.5 miles (8.9 km) long and approximately 100 feet (30 m) deep with internal diameter of 18 feet (5.5 m), will cross variable geological conditions (clay, alluvium, hard rock) and will pass close to Washington D.C's iconic monuments. It will require the use of two TBMs customized specifically for these soil conditions. Cowi A/S from Kongens Lyngby secured the EUR 784,738.71  (DKK5.85 million) contract, excluding VAT,  for the strategic analysis for a new connection across the Little Belt. The present tender mainly includes the sketch design of road and rail facilities on land as well as the actual crossing of the Little Belt (as a bridge and/or tunnel), as well as screening/mapping of natural, environmental and noise conditions in connection with a possible new connection. NRVA (Nedre Romerike Vann- og Avlopsselskap) from Strommen secured to Arne Olav Lund AS, a subsidiary of Peab Anlegg AS, the EUR 12.13 million (NOK144 million) contract for the construction of a new main water line between Tomtveien and Isakbekken north of Lillestrøm. Construction will begin immediately and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2025.  

The project includes building a new 3.3 km main water line and laying down signal cables and conduits. Tunnelling with concrete pipes past one of Norway’s busiest bus stations was chosen as the construction method instead of traditional digging. Veidekke from Stockholm has been awarded by Stockholm Vatten och Avfall the EUR 78.27 million (SEK 898 million) contract to build a new 4km wastewater tunnel with an associated access tunnel that will relieve Stockholm's wastewater system and reduce flood risk.  The new Mässtunneln tunnel will run from Stockholmsmassan in Alvsjo (Stockholm) through Solberga, Vastberga and Midsommarkransen to Liljeholmen. The access tunnel will be built at Kontrollvägen in northern Solberga, from which the wastewater tunnel will be blasted and drilled in two directions. Construction is scheduled to start in December, with the tunnel scheduled to be operational in 2030.
