Cowi AS from Oslo have secured the contract for the engineering design for the Light Rail, Construction stage 5, from the Bergen centre through Åsane to Vågsbotn. Stage 5 involves a 12.8 km section with 14 stops, a continual cycle route and a 2.5km extension of the Fløyfjell tunnel to Eidsvåg. The total length of the tunnel will be 5.3km.
