THE ONLY “FULL LINE” COMPANY FROM FORMWORK TO SPRAYED CONCRETE
To be “full line” means to know, better than anyone else, about the way concrete behaves and the technological characteristics of the machines used to process the concrete. The term expresses the ability to handle the overall management of the complete process: from production to distribution, from pumping to installation. CIFA is a “full line” company because it has unparalleled knowhow which ranges across the entire application spectrum of concrete: an expertise that translates into an immediate and clear understanding of the problems and of the expectations of users and in the research and development of highly efficient, reliable products. Modern construction sites, tunnel, bridge, dam and port view CIFA technology as a leader in performance and versatilityCIFA, A LEADING COMPANY IN ITALY ONE OF THE LEADING COMPANIES WORLDWIDE
CIFA's machines and resources have played an important role and continue to be a fundamental factor on major international construction sites. CIFA is present wherever the management of concrete technology is an essential component of the operation and the operating economy of the construction site. The most authoritative engineering teams operating in the sectors of tunnels, bridges, dams and ports, have attested to CIFA's excellence. Its supremacy ranges from vehicles working in the field and extends up to the professional quality of its service. From the dam on the Yangtze river to high-speed European railway lines, from the Dallas underground system to the Angostura Hydroelectric Project in Costa Rica, from the extension of the Milan underground system to the Manapouri project in New Zealand, CIFA is a major player in large construction sites throughout the world.SEGMENT MOULD FORMWORK WITH CAROUSELTYPE SYSTEM
The steel moulds for segments are mounted on special trolleys that travel along production lines with fixed operating stations in forced curing areas inside tunnels on several lines subject to a controlled temperature. The trolleys travel along the operating line at a speed of approximately 10 minutes where operations to dismantle, clean, lay the reinforced iron bars, position the inserts, jet spray and surface finish are performed. The supply can be integrated with a concrete mixing plant complete with jet spray system, preparation and positioning structure for the reinforced iron bar cages and a final line to mark the segment moulds and assemble the seals.Tunnelling Reference
