Morgan Sindall BeMo joint venture appointed to London Underground framework

07/12/2016

A joint venture between Morgan Sindall and BeMo Tunnelling has been awarded a place on London Underground’s ‘Future Stations’ Civils and Tunnelling Works framework. The eight-year framework is anticipated to be worth £350 million.

The successful joint venture was awarded a place on all three procurement lots – Lot 1 (Civils), Lot 2 (Tunnelling) and Lot 3 (Civils and Tunnelling).

The framework is part of London Underground’s plans to upgrade its stations – including Camden, Elephant and Castle and Paddington.
Work packages will include the construction of new station entrances, ticket halls and platforms including associated tunnelling and shaft works.

Paul Gott, managing director of major projects at Morgan Sindall, said; ‘We are delighted to have been appointed to this prestigious framework. Our joint venture has a strong working relationship having already worked together on a number of complex projects in the capital and we are looking forward to deploying this expertise on this framework.’ Visit http://www.bemo.net and https://construction.morgansindall.com/ for further information. 49/16
