Intertunnel 2015, the 7th edition of the International Tunnelling Exhibition, will take place at the VDNKh in Moscow from 27 to 29 April, 2015.

In a country as vast as Russia, tunnels are playing a key role in the development of transport and utilities infrastructure. Many major projects for new highways and railways and expansion of metro systems in principal cities frequently entail the construction of tunnels, in some instances in very challenging conditions.

Utilities projects needed to support Russia’s economic development – including hydro-electric, sewerage and water supply schemes – are also boosting demand for specialized tunnel building equipment and expertise.
