During WTC2015 at Dubvronik, Fama revealed that the Italian Ministry for Economic development has recognized their original contribution to technical evolution in underground sealing technology by granting an industrial patent for the Fama integrated anchored gasket. The innovative characteristics of the gasket are:

2. Environmental sustainability: use of glue is eliminated, thus preventing exposure to solvents for workers who would normally apply the adhesive.
