Nodavia, a JV of Coopsette and Ergon, secured the EUR709 million contract for the Florence high-speed rail tunnel and station. EPB TBM Monnalisa will drive twin 5 km-long tunnels between the Campo di Marte and Rifredi stations, starting September, 2012. These will be lined with waterproof precast concrete segments (6+1), 40 cm-thick and 1.50 m-long. At intervals of 410-490 m the single-track tunnels will be connected by 10 m-long, 2.40 m-wide, 3.50 m-high safety tunnels. Click
