The North/South metro line in Amsterdam is 9.7 km-long, with 7.1 km underground, of which 3.1 km is in twin bored tunnels. Four TBMs have been used. On 01.10.2012 the TBM Victoria re-started the excavation 883 m-long final drive between Rokin and Vijzelgracht stations following a short stop to fix leakage of drilling mud into the tunnel.
