Italian-based contractor Impregilo has been awarded the EUR100 million design/build contract of a 9.5 km-long, 4.5 m-diameter stormwater drainage tunnel with 21 access shafts in Doha. Two TBMs will be used, with a view to project completion in 2016. See press release .45/12.
