The five contractors prequalified for the EUR1.6 billion Klang Valley MRT tunnelled section of the Sungai Buloh-Kajang line include MMC-Gamuda JV (Malaysia), Sinohydro Group Ltd (China), SK Holdings (South Korea), a second Chinese company and one Japanese company. They have three months in which to prepare and submit proposals. MMC-Gamuda is the project delivery partner appointed by SPN for implementation of the Klang Valley MRT.
